1. Data Collection & Processing

To provide our intelligent reminder services, we collect minimal operational data:

• Account Identity: Registered business name, email, and authorized user details.
• Operational Data: Information contained in your uploaded Universal JSON files or accessed from your connected Google Sheets (e.g., recipient names, contact identifiers, and invoice amounts) and communication logs from connected email services (like Gmail API) to facilitate automated payment reminders and follow-up tracking.
• Technical Metadata: IP addresses and session logs for security and fraud prevention.

2. Global Compliance (GDPR, CCPA, DPDP)

We are committed to data sovereignty. Our practices are aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other global standards. We act as a "Data Processor" for the information you upload, and you remain the "Data Controller."

3. Encryption & Security

We implement industry-leading security protocols, including AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Your uploaded datasets are processed in secure, isolated environments to ensure zero cross-contamination.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Datasets uploaded for draft generation are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the service. Users have the absolute right to delete their account and associated data at any time via the dashboard.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing & Disclosure

We strictly do not sell your personal information or Google User Data to third parties. We only share specific data with trusted third-party service providers solely to operate the App's core functionality:

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

Calibn's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Universal Terms of Professional Engagement

1. License & Usage Rights

Calibn grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our platform for generating professional business communications. You represent that you have the legal right to the data provided in your JSON/CSV uploads.

2. Acceptable Use & Messaging Compliance

Users must strictly adhere to international anti-spam laws and the specific policies of the communication channels utilized (including Email Service Provider terms). The platform must be used solely for legitimate business-to-business follow-ups. Any use of the platform for marketing, harassment, or unsolicited messaging will result in immediate termination of service.

3. Subscription Billing & Taxes

Access to our premium features is provided on a subscription basis. You are responsible for all applicable local taxes (VAT, GST, or Sales Tax) based on your billing jurisdiction. Fees are billed in advance and are subject to our Refund Policy.

4. Limitation of Liability

Calibn is a productivity tool designed to assist in communication. We do not guarantee the collection of any outstanding payments. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the service during the 12 months preceding any claim.

We want you to be confident in our platform. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions. If the platform does not meet your workflow requirements, you may request a full refund within the first week of your initial purchase.

2. Eligibility Criteria

• Refunds are only available for initial subscription purchases.
• To prevent system abuse, refunds are only issued if no AI credits (Nudges) have been dispatched or consumed from the account.
• Subscription renewals are not eligible for refunds.
